Our price match guarantee is simple: if you find a lower price on an identical item,
just show us the advertised lower price when you buy that item from SmartXpress
and we’ll match the price, or if claimed within 14 days of purchase we will credit
you back the difference.
Items covered under the SmartXpress price match guarantee
Almost everything we sell is included. The item must be identical, including model
number, components and U.S. warranty. The item must be in stock and available for
purchase at that price from an authorized U.S. reseller, whose authorization we
reserve the right to verify.
Items and services that aren’t available for price match guarantee
Some items and services not included in our guarantee include third–party providers’
products and services (e.g., custom printing), items sold on auction sites or at
local or special events (e.g., grand opening, anniversary, clearance or liquidation
sales). We don’t price match against other websites or on taxes or match for typographical
errors of our own or that of our competitors.
Coupons and rebates influence whether or not we will honor a price match.
Before we match a competitor’s price, we first deduct any available SmartXpress
coupons, SmartXpress rebates (instant rebates or mail–in) and any manufacturer rebates
available from the SmartXpress price to arrive at a final net price. For example,
an item purchased from SmartXpress for $79.00 less a $20.00 instant rebate would
have a net price of $59.00. If a competitor’s advertised price is $69, the SmartXpress
price less the instant rebate is actually less than a competitor’s advertised price,
there would be no need to price match. However, if that competitor was also offering
an identical $20.00 rebate, the competitor’s price would be $49.00 and in that instance
we would match to the net price of $49.00.
Delivery charges are also considered before we honor a price match
Since most SmartXpress orders are delivered next day, when we compare our
price to another company's price, the company's next day shipping and handling fees
will be added to their price to make a fair comparison against our price. If the
other company's shipping and handling fees are not supplied, we will add $9.95 to
the other company's price for purposes of comparison.
SmartXpress reserves the right to limit the quantity of advertised items that
can be purchased
This is especially true if the other merchant limits item quantities, so do we reserve
the right to limit the quantity of items subject to our price match guarantee.
This price match guarantee is effective June 1, 2009 and may be subject to change
from at any time. Those changes will be reflected in this part of our website. For
